| The
2008 Beef & Beer event, which was held at the Pennsylvania
National Guard Armory on the Boulevard proved to be our best fund
raiser yet, featuring recording artist Brianna
Taylor, Sounds of
Freedom Disc Jockey DJ Johnny, a Silent Auction that showcased
some very desirable, collectible items, a truly grand Chinese
Auction that nearly covered one entire wall of the Armory's
exhibition hall. We
also celebrated the Halloween spirit by inviting you to come to
our event
in costume. Everyone who did looked fantastic as you will see on the
video and congratulations to all the auction winners!
Thanks to you, we
can continue to help families battling childhood cancer. We
cannot thank everyone enough!! We've had several family applications
come in since the event, and we are happy to be able to help them! Thanks
again to all of you who came out to support our cause and to all our
